Reach out to almost every part of your country
AGE project enables animated multimedia modules to reach to
out to most parts of the country including rural areas with slow dial
ups in seconds for hours of usage.
The Students.
The first beneficiaries would be the students. The
availability of good multimedia modules that can be run anytime
anywhere. The availability to access of software at students own time
and convenience is lacking in today's CDs or online flash/Jaya
environments. More often than not, students would prefer to read plain
old books to ovecome this limitation.
With AGE, the students can
easily copy the modules from school or download the modules from
the Internet with ease to use them at their own comfort - home or in a
library. Students can now make use of the avaiable software and contents
in the library or resource center for free.
With the ease of getting the software, studetnts would be able to learn
at much faster speed.
Saves students lots of money having to pay for photocopies of homework.

Start using AGE in school
see videos
Your school can now use AGE with projectors in classes. AGE
would complement those given by the Ministry of Education. We know for
sure, software runs out very fast and more often than not cannot be
transferred back to students' homes to use. AGE can easily be used in
class and students' homes. Just copy and paste the folders containing
the modules that's all. AGE does not need Internet connections to use.
So they are very useful and cheap to use. For the first time rural
students will have tools and contents to improve their grades, able to
pronounce proper English, able to improve on their Mathematics and lots
of books to read. These are only the beginners as more publishers get
into converting their contents into AGE formats or teachers exchanging
contents nationally and globally. These are all coming. Join now the AGE
project.
To close the digital divide among nations and
urban/rural areas
We are currently
producing educational modules and tools that will make
teaching much easier and more efficient ( see benefits) and
allow difficult to reach areas to have equal access to AGE modules.
To save the trees
- Mothers of all environment protectors
We need to lessen the economic forces of felling trees for
papers globally. To do that we need to be proactive to reduce the use of
papers in schools among hundreds of millions of children in schools.
Together there would be an impact. It requires very little individual
efforts to get this going on sustainable basis, unlike other
environmental friendly projects where individual and political wills are
required. Here we use a better and more efficient and cheaper way
to learn. It is able to reach rural areas cheaply bringing with it lots of economic
benefits to all. Join us in this effort. Just spread the word around.
Raising teachers to the next level
We hope to raise teachers to the next level -
nationally and globally - to be able to create digital self
correcting homework with
ease using
"practical tech" not "high tech" without the
need to be ICT savvy nor the
need to pay thousands for overpowered tools teachers find
difficult to master
and impractical to use.
Easy handling of marks from local to
national levels - analyze
students' strengths and weaknesses
AGE paperless Homework's entire homework
process is automated. This includes creating modules, students doing the tests, collating
the marks into electronic spreadsheets. Collated
marks can be sent to central head office to be analyzed
collectively or individually to know the strengths and weaknesses of
students' performances instantly. This collation of data for the entire
country from the most remote to the most urban areas is made easy.
Easy availability of contents make learning super
fast speed
Try out our paperless solution and you would be
amazed how a simple tool and lots of ready simple modules
will change the way you teach. How it is going to help to
spare the trees
and how third world countries can now
digitise their education system without spending a "bomb".
No need for
broadband!!
No broadband to
continue receiving future multimedia modules? No worry. AGE's multimedia
modules are so small that you do not need broadband to get hours of
usage. A few seconds of downloads using ordinary slow dial up can
provide hours or days of interactive modules. This is important because
throughout the year, new modules would be prepared and these will
continue to be delivered/sent to you via Internet or other means. If you
live in the most remote areas, you can make use of satellite links for a
few seconds of usage. Use hand cranked
XO computers with WinXP
(coming soon), you do not
need electricity!
Manufacturers
of ULPCs
Want to market your ULPCs to the education markets globally? Use AGE as one of the
contents and it will be the contents that would be used most of the
time. Why?
Storage space available in most ULPCs after the OS(e.g. Win XPs) is very
limited and without CD Rom drives limits the availabilities of software
intuitively accessible to students. Getting from Internet? Well, try
that and you would find the options are very limited to the needs of the
students and teachers.
ULPCs' NAND drives have limited lifespan of 10,000 read/write MTBF and
if using AGE with minimal footprint would allow these drives to last
much longer.
Users of AGE are highly advised to test AGE first for compatibilities,
e.g. the drivers, before purchasing ULPCs. We would be putting up
a list recommended very soon. Vista machines are not compatible.
Ministries of Education
We welcome any
Ministry of Education around the world to test drive AGE's modules in
their schools.
Find out
1. how AGE can save hundreds of millions of cost of implementations and
new hardware purchases.
2. Why using CDs or online flash will cost you a big sum without any
assurance of success even in developed countries
3. how we can really uplift your entire nation's use of ICT in mass
Education to the next level deem impossible before.
4. how we can train your teachers to be digital enabled from
blackboard/paper based for almost negligible costs.
(try this with tradition tools.... you would need
hundreds of million of dollars for a small country)
5. how with very little budget you can reach out to the most remote
areas you never dream of reaching with available technologies and
infrastructures.
6. Don't have to wait for nationwide broadband roll out (if you have the
funds in view of the financial crisis). Use immediately.
... plus many more benefits. |
