To prepare a homework
module follow these steps.
1. Have AGE
Homework tools. (Don't have? Download here
AGE Homework tools.)
2. Prepare your contents in
notepad and save contents to
c:/visless/import.txt e.g.

3. Run
AGE
Homework generator
and go to
functions page
Go to your desktop and click AGE
Homework folder.
Click Workbook Generator for
Teachers.
A
registration screen appears for user to key in your
registration code. Click Guest
You see a
blue Start Screen. Press
Enter
You see a
selection screen.
Select Load blank page (lower bottom right of
screen)
(Note: you can select a story or content here
if required).
You are now at the main functions screen

4. Click Import-
DOS/Win followed by notepad
You will
see the contents you have prepared before. See 2.
If there is no more change, exit from
import.txt
file
containing your contents.
Your
working screen now contains your contents.
5. Prepare the Questions.
Initialize the question sheet.
Click
New Set see image
Enter
title
name, say, Grammar test questions.
Enter
number of questions or just press Enter to default to 100.
Enter
name of answer file.
6. Setting the
questions.
At the the
functions page
Click Functions (first box top
most), you then see
red option boxes.
Click Question option (first
box)
Clicking the answers
on screen..
Click an in
the sentence 1 after the word saw.
On top of the screen you will see a few options, one of
which has the word an in it.

An
instruction box appears. Press enter.
You will see question 1 completed.

Click
him. in sentence 2 after the word for.
Same as before. Notice the "." in" him.". AGE will use
"him." as answer not "him" because
of the ".". To overcome this, when the magenta colored
options box appears, key in
him.-him where the hyphen "-" tells AGE to
accept both as answers.
Repeat the above
until the 10th question has been created.

6. Save the prepared questions
in one or more pages.
To save this page,
click Save this Page 1 at the
functions' page
You have completed creating the first page of the module.
The user normally can go on to produce unlimited pages
repeating the same process above.
7. Save final and
compile the Homework.

8. Name final homework
module to a
folder in c:\visless\work
folder.
At this stage, AGE prompts you whether
a password controlled module or a normal non-password module
is required.

name as ENGLISH\GRAMMAR\TEST

Key in File's name as
TEST QUESTIONS PRIMARY LEVEL1
If a message is
required to describe about the module, click Description
for this module and enter the message.
9. Save completed question to computer or to A drive/other drives
for distribution.
Select one of the
options at Save to =>.
Saving to Both
locations allows you to distribute the completed module to
others.
Make sure you have a
diskette with enough space in drive A (or other pen drives- select
through Set button).
To use the module by students:
Students will see the folder containing the module in the
diskette/pen drive. Make sure the entire folder is copied and
clicking the "Run_" file in the folder from any drive will load and
run the module.
Students insert the disk or pen drive to their own computers
(with AGE Homework tools installed.).
Click the folder saved in
A:\VISLESS\work\ENGLISH\GRAMMAR\TEST folder
Click the icon with the word
"Run_".
It will run. When it runs, the first
page will be
like this
The same module will remain in
their computers for future use.
In future, to run the modules just go to the AGE Homework folder in
the desktop and click
AGE Modules in Html icon
