If this is the first time you use AGE...

Step 1. Download the AGE homework tools
(If you do not already have AGE Homework tools). - install the software by clicking Setup icon after unzipping/extracting the downloaded file - AGEHomeW.zip(1.4mbyte).
This file is deliberately created to be installed through the DOS mode to enable the entire file to be less than 1.4 mbyte to fit into a diskette. This will allow users to freely redistribute them in diskettes to their students unchanged.

For sample testing here, we shall click this module called Adjectiv.exe

There are a number of ways to run the downloaded module.

1. Through Run AGE modules in Html -easiest - for Internet explorer
     Firefox browser users cannot use this method 1. Must use method 2   read more
      (Set your default browser to Internet Explorer for this to work)

2. Through AGE Modules folder   - easy

3. Through AGE Educator Annual - many steps

4. Through Workbook Generator Annual for teachers- many steps

The easiest will be through 1. or 2. which we shall describe here.

Step 1. At the desktop page, click the AGEHome folder

Step 2. To find and run the module.

	Method 1. Click AGE modules in Html ( method 2 to the right=>) This is recommended Please note : Mozilla Firefox browser does not work here. Use Method 2 to the right.	Method 2. Click AGE Modules folder
	This method is the quickest of the four ways to run the modules. AGE will process all the homework modules in C:\visless\work folder and produces an Iexplorer html page or pages as shown below. This is the first page. Click page 2 to access listing of homework modules.	click English folder
	This is Page 2 Click the active links with words starting with "Run_" . Upon clicking RUN_ADJECTIVE_EXERCISE1. go to Step 4 directly.	Click the Grammar folder
4	Go to Step 4	Click Adjectiv folder followed by Exercise folder
	Go to Step 4	To run the module choose the icon with words beginning with "Run_" e.g. Click this icon to start to run Go to Step 4

   Prompts for user name
    If this is the first time you are using AGE, it will prompt you to input user's name. Key in your name. This name will be
    permanent.

                AGE main Password Gateway page will appear. (non registered users only)


In this case it can be like this
This is where you key in the subscription password (if you have been provided with one), for 1 year usage of
AGE contents and materials. Otherwise just click "Guest" to use the 30 days or 30 times trial usage
whichever is earlier.

Note: In order to register, you shall have to provide the computer code generated
by your computer for this AGE tool. Payments can be done through our payment page
via PayPal. In this sample case, the code required to be sent for registration is

      ALAN/WA4AGE5.0/8314/5218/5323/M1/MA1/EA/1.
         Your computer will generate a different code (see above)

This code should be sent for registration of the computer. Upon receipt of this
code together with the necessary payment, a password key will be sent
to you to register this software. Please note that the above module is charged
by annual subscription basis. That means, users can have access to all modules
under our AGE General Sections as well as under free sections.

If you do not have the password, you can still use AGE tools for 30 days
or up to 30 trial uses whichever is faster. There is no need to send the code.

Click Guest button to proceed under trial mode. (for users without subscription pass word.)

For this module, the following will appear ready to be used. Click the question numbers
appearing as follows.

To run this module, user left mouse click the question number.
Users have two ways to provide the answers.
1. by clicking on the word on the screen, AGE will pick up that word as the answer.
2. User can type in the word directly from the keyboard as the answer.
(Be careful to include full stops ".", commas "," whenever necessary. Sometimes the
computer picks an answer with an extra "." or "," when the answer does not have it. Type the answer then.
Notice that for the above question clicked is "2" which has a yellow star near it. This star indicates that question has
been clicked.

Check the score

After the questions have been answered you can click Score to check the score.
