AGE allows teachers to collate all the students' scores through Ms Excel.
From there teachers can sort according the the fields desired and produce marks sheets.

The answer files, TEST.ANS, as shown below is saved after the student has completed the test.


 
  

    It is saved when students click item 4 or item 6 after completing the test.
    Item 4 saves the score to the folder c:/visless/score
    Item 6 saves the score to the drive A or any other drive set by "SET" - item 9

Collect the scores from students.

The score sheet is preformatted into the following fields after student click item 13.
This is the visual presentation for each score for the test.

     

 
   where ENGLISH - SJKC TSING NIAN is the name of test paper.
             Joanne.ans  is the file name of this score.
             Joanne is the one doing the test.
             First column is the shows the question numbers
             Second column shows whether the answer is right or wrong.
             Third column shows the answers given by the students
             Fourth column shows the actual marks for each question
             Fifth column shows the marks in percentage.

Send the score file to the teacher.  

The answer file, TEST.ANS, can be sent to the teacher by

    1. email as attachment.
 
    2. any suitable storage medium e.g. diskettes, Pen drives

 

 

   

Upon receipt of the answer file, it is saved to any folder in c:\visless\score or below.
e.g. c:\visless\score\teacher one  or c:\visless\score\english by copy and paste method.

After all the scores have been placed in a folder within c:/visless/score folder or below, teacher clicks the AGE Homework folder at the desktop screen

 Click Run AGE Modules in Html

     
                            A html page will appear.

                          

 Click Score list
.

6       This will appear. The selection below allows user to reach answer files with extensions .ANS.
     e.g. TEST.ANS, JOANNE.ANS, PETER NICOLAS.ANS etc.

              
Click "ANS"

 AGE prompts the folder menu bars as shown. This means that there are two folders containing  answer files with extensions "ANS".

Click one of the folder menu bars

Produces the following Excel reports. From here it is up to the teachers to sort the score sheets according to their own needs.

Other gateways to run this same functions

From step 5 above, click "other useful AGE tool" folder
      From there click "Check scores in Ms Excel" icon
      Proceed from step 6 above.

 2. Access score summary as shown in step 1.
     
Click the item 3 - "Check scores in Ms Excel"

 4. Access through the Educator Annual or AGE Homework generator functions pages.
     Right mouse click and a menu page will appear.
     Click "Check marks in Excel/Notepad"
